Gymnastics Australia’s gymnastics-in-schools
program for affiliated clubs and coaches

Following three years of extensive research, piloting and development, Gymnastics Australia is pleased to announce that the new GYMSkools resource has now been launched.

What is GYMSkools?
GYMSkools is an online resource designed to assist affiliated clubs and coaches establish, administer, deliver and maintain a sustainable gymnastics-in-schools program.

Features of the GYMSkools resource
Designed with the club administrators, coach and teacher in mind, the GYMSkools resource includes:

• useful templates and sample documents to assist in establishing, administering and maintaining a gymnastics-in-schools program
  
  
• an innovative online Lesson Plan Builder (LPB), that progressively builds safe and challenging gymnastics-in-schools lessons, drawing from over 1000 pre-selected games, activities and skills, including the ability to print and save your completed lesson plans for record keeping and future use
  
  
• A4 sized activity cards that can be printed for use within the program

Access to all GYMSkools features listed above is a Benefit of Membership
COMPLIMENTARY access to all components of the GYMSkools resource has been provided to all clubs who are currently rated at STAR 3 or above within the Club 10 quality assurance program. Accredited coaches with a relationship to all such clubs will also be provided with complimentary access to all components of the resource.

Access to the GYMSkools Lesson Plan Builder (LPB) via a Yearly Subscription
Clubs rated at Star 1 and Star 2 may purchase an annual subscription to the GYMSkools LPB for $33 and coaches not provided with complimentary access (as listed above) may also purchase a yearly subscription to the GYMSkools LPB with prices starting at $33 for accredited coaches/members and $110 for non-members (ie teachers).
